| Movies and Non-Gamers |
This page is for Movie worn jerseys and the non-gamers I have of special significance. Before I got into collecting game worn jerseys, I was fanatical about jerseys in general. I have about 30 jerseys that I had done up in the span of just a few years. Besides Movies jerseys this page highlights some of those and includes some autographed jerseys. I hope you like them.
This page is still under construction but there are some great jerseys to see!
Rob McClanahan (Nathan West) Team USA #24 White. Worn by Nathan in the movie Miracle, these White jerseys were used in a couple different games in the movie including that amazing game against Russia. There were several sets of each jersey used in the movie and this is from set #4 (pic 4). Was this worn in any part of the movie that did not end up on the cutting room floor? I have no idea, but there is some 'wear' on the jersey that consists of a small stick mark just above the top left hand corner of the "U" (Pic 3). I love that movie and I love having a part of it in my collection. BTW Nathan also played one the the Rancho Carne High School Toros in the sweeping epic "Bring It On!" Spirit Fingers!! GO TOROS!!
This is a real favorite of mine, My first on ice jersey. It's a wool Leafs jersey that fit me at age 4. You can see it compared to a size 52 jersey in pic 2 and the incredible photomatch pic from the Buffalo newspaper. That picture was taken on the ice at Buffalo's Memorial Auditorium. Dad had my brother and I on skates early. 11 months after that picture was taken I underwent open heart surgery and had to take a year off, but I was back on the ice as soon as that year was up.
This is a bruins replica jersey that was signed by a whole bunch of Bruins Alumni. While I was living in Rhode Island I played with a team that got the chance to play against the Old Bruins. On the team were Johnny Buyck, Frank Simonetti, Bobby Miller, Brad Park, Ken Hodge, Don Marcotte and Johnnie "Pie" McKenzie amoung others. When I was a kid Pie was my hero and I had the chance to take a picture of just us two on the ice together. It was awesome and that picture is now a 2x3 foot smile on the wall of my Guy Room
Team signed 01-02 Sabres replica jersey. All the players from The Dominators last season in the Buff, Over 20 sigs including coach Lindy Ruff.

Sabres #93 Doug Gilmour replica signed by the man himself. I liked Douggie as a player even before Grapes kissed him on Coaches Corner. I was really excited when Buffalo got him but he left with a sour taste in his mouth. I wasn't sure he would sign it but, ever the nice guy, Douggie personalized this for me and added his nickname "Killer"
Patrick Roy #33 Avs replica. This is a limited edition jersey that Patty signed 133 of after he broke Terry Sawchuk's record for most wins ever. That was a great year for the Avs with Roy's record, The All Star game in their home city and taking home the Stanley Cup for Raymond Bourque.
A replica of a Buffalo Bisons Pepsi Cap sweater from the final AHL season (1969-1970) where they went out with a bang by winning the Calder Cup. This was made by the good folks at www.oldjerseys.com and I think they do some great work. Of course the number on the back is because I am a Larry Brown fan not because it's my favorite number. Believe it... or not?
