Defunct NHL Jerseys:
Hartford Whalers...
The-Whale Pitirri-Back No-Cup-Patch
Richard Pitirri #55 Lotsa Years w/100th patch removed. This jersey has been around. It has some really good stick marks and burns and pilling and all the good stuff. It was worn by Richard Pitirri a former ECHL Admiral but only in preseason or T/C. The only Whaler to ever wear #55 in a regular season game was Keith Primeau and this isn't his. My best guess is that this jersey was in every T/C-Pre for a long time and Pitirri wore it in camp in 1995 when he was 17 before eventually getting sent to play for the London Knights in the OHL. In 96-97 the final Whale year, Primeau arrived and donned the double nickles. Got that, good cause I'd hate to go through it again.

Quebec Nordiques...
Warriner-Front Warriner-Back Coupe-Patch Sew-Nice
Todd Warriner #49 1992-93 Home w/100yr. Cup patch. This beautiful style of jersey has been a quest of mine for a long time. I had a blue Nords jersey as a kid and as a collector I have wanted an all sewn Quebec sweater for years. Worn by Todd in the preseason after he was Quebc's first round pick (4th overall) in the 1992 draft. He then wound up in the Toronto system and broke in to the bigs full time in 1995. The jersey has a little bit of wear considering it was only worn in preseason but it does have the 100th anniversary Cup patch, French version (Pic 3). Pic 4 is just a shot of how good a sewn Nordiques jersey looks form the inside.

AHL Jerseys:
Carolina Monarchs...
Monarchs-Away Gravelle Nice-Patch
Dan Gravelle #22 95-96 Road. When Carolina moved from the ECHL to the AHL (albeit only briefly) they went from being voted the worst uniforms in hockey to being voted the best. I personally think the road Monarchs jersey is one of the most gorgeous jerseys ever made. I had been searching for one for years and finally did some last minute wheeling and dealing with a guy at the Toronto show about 5 years sgo to get one. I didn't care about who it was or the wear just so long as I had one. That was a good thing because Dan played all of two games for the Monarchs amassing 0-0-0 for points and 4pims. At least I have what, at the time, was a Grail for me.

Houston Aeros (Old Style)...
Aeros-Blue-Alt Blue-Alt
NOBR #19 00-01 Blue Alt. One of the other jerseys that I still feel I must have is the old style Aeros "Bomber" jersey. When I saw this one available from Byron's I snapped it up because it was my favorite number and a jersey I had been on the look out for a long time. When it arrived however I was surprised to say the least. I assumed that it was a blue version of the Bomber. Although I like the jersey I am still looking for that elusive Aeros sweater. Not much wear on this one as with a lot of alternates. But it also looks like after a game the player did some chores at the arena. There is a spot on this one that looks a lot like mahogany stain, who knows.

Portland Pirates (Old Style)...
Aeros-Blue-Alt Aeros-Blue-Alt Aeros-Blue-Alt
Mike Omicioli #36 1999-00 Road. Omi is one of the greatest passers I have ever seen. When he was with the ECHL Hampton Roads Admnirals he was on a line that accounted for 50% of the goals the team had through 30 games. His big problem is that he's so little, maybe 5' 7", but he still got the call up to the Pirates in the AHL. Since that season he has played in the German league and in the ECHL (You'll see a Gators jersey of his further down the page). This jersey has minimal wear but an obvious nameplate change. It's really obvious because the first nameplate was sewn right through thr neck tag of the jersey (Pic 3) but a nice defunct jersey from a great "little" player.

Miluakee Admirals...
Lasak-Front Lasak-Back 9-11-Patch Post-Paint
Jan Lasak #26 2001-02 Home w/9-11 patch. I have 3 of Jan's jerseys. He is a great goalie and I can't understand why he hasn't cemented himself in the NHL. This jersey has great use on it including puck/stick marks, burns, rips and lots of post paint (Pic 4). Inner pilling is good too. A really nice jersey from one of my favorite goalies.

Norfolk Admirals (New Style)...
Ads-Alt-Front Ads-Alt-Back Repair Inside-Auto Pavel-Signs Me&Pavel Forum-Score
Pavel Vorobiev #28 04-05 Red Alt. This is what I am calling an alternate because the new logo jerseys were not ready when this past season started and they wore these until the "cruise ship launching donuts" sweaters arrived. It has a really nice amount of damage to it including a repair just above the Blackhawks logo on the shoulder (Pic 3)and Pavel rung up some serious numbers in this sweater including scoring a game winner on a penalty shot. The Ads had a "Shirt off our backs" night and this beauty cost me all of $10.00, the cool thing was meeting Pavel (Pic 6)and having him sign it right there on the ice. All the players signed their jerseys on the back number but I asked Pavel to also personalize this on the inside (Pic 5). After the festivities myself (19mickey) and fellow Game Worn Jersey Forum member 648_PIM posed with our prizes (Pic 7). When my 05-06 season tickets arrived Pavel's pic was on some of the tickets and I had a photomatch to my jersey right there! I'll get the ticket scanned soon but here is a photo match to the dark stick mark near the bottom of the jersey.
Ads-New-TC Ads-New-TC
Judd Medak #15 04-05 White Training Camp. This is a nicely abused jersey from a guy that didn't make the cut and played last season with Reading in the ECHL. I wanted something in the new Ads colors and missed being able to pick one of these up at first. I talked the Booster Club president into letting me have all the jerseys they didn't sell at auction and take them to a "Meet the Admirals" luncheon on Naval Station Norfolk so the whole team could sign them and then he would raffle/auction them off later. So I got them all signed and then got my pick. It is littered with autographs but all but two members of the 04-05 team signed this including current Blackhawks Rene Bourque, Pavel Vorobiev and Jim Vandermeer. Plus winning the Vorobiev on SOTB night got me my Norfolk, new color, jersey anyway. But in retrospect I'd rather have it wothout the sigs.

Norfolk Admirals (Old Style)...
Leighton-Front Leighton-Back
Michael Leighton #49 01-02 Road. This jersey has some really nice goalie wear on it. Lots of post paint on both arms and good puck/stick marks for a dark sweater. I got this one at a write-in silent auction at a game. If the guy in front of me had been a slower writer he would have gotten it but I came in just under the wire. Leights couldn't make the big club this year and got traded to Buffalo and sent to Rochester and then released and now has signed with the Ducks.

Anderson-Alt Alt-Back
Craig Anderson #31 02-03 Alt. This is a gently used alternate jersey from one of my favorite new goalies. These Alts were huge money makers at the teams annual MDA charity auction and I could never have afforded it unless I got it second hand as I did this one. I really like the super dark blue they used for these jerseys, very classy style as well.

Carroll-TC Carroll-TC
Ken Carroll #1 00-01 Blue T/C. Ken didn'tmake the cut in 00-01 but actually got to play in one game for the Ads in 01-02...we lost. This was one of the last remaining T/C jerseys from the first year in the AHL. It was a steal at $75.00 and I was proud to wear it back then because there were so few around (not the case anymore). This jersey has light use, I guess no pucks hit him they just went by him.

Ads-Practice
Here's a few Admirals practice jerseys from various AHL seasons. Red, gold and white all with some pretty nice use. With the new style I'll have start seeking out those practice jerseys soon as well.

ECHL Jerseys:
Hampton Roads Admirals (Defunct Team)...
Old-School-Ads-Front Lamoureux-Back
Denis Lamoureux #17 1996-97 Road. Denis Played 18 games for the Ads before being traded to Johnstown. I find it interesting that the Admirals had blue logos on the home whites and these gold logos on the road blues. Now all I have to do is find a white version of this same jersey and I will be really happy. Some light wear on this dark jersey that saw at most nine games of action.

HRAds-Practice White-ECHL
These are two Admirals practice jerseys from the days in the 'E'. The wear on the blue one is really light but the white one is pretty beat up, neither of these have any numbers on the back.

Greensboro Generals...
Blades-Omi Omi-Back
NOBR (Sylvia?) #19 00-01 Home. This is a severly marked up jersey. It looks like the guy wearing it ran through a stick swinging gauntlet. A pretty cool style of jersey with a great number on it.

Louisiana Ice Gators...
Gators-Omi Omi-Back
Mike Omicioli #26 04-05 Green. Another jersey from my favorite "little" hockey player. Mike only spent part of the season with Florida and then went back to play in the German league. I just wanted to get another jersey of his because I like the way he played so much. Minimal wear on this one because he was only with the team for about 10 or 15 games.

Pensacola Ice Pilots...
Pilots-Front Pilots-Back
White #19 practice jersey, player unknown. Just another in my growing collection of #19 jerseys. This is also now a defunct logo so it's a piece of hockey history. Minimal use on this one.

International Jerseys:
Czech National Team...
Czech-Front Czech-Back Slice No-Patch
NNOB #19 97-99 Red. This one is pretty beat up. and has a big slice in it (Pic 3). Because of the lack of records kept the year is uncertain but was possibly used in the 1998 Olympics. There is a place where a patch has been removed (Pic 4) and it may have been the olympic patch. I am still researching this one but it's another great jersey with my favorite number.

Team Slovokia...
Team-Slovak Lasak-Back Patches Scuff-Burn
Jan Lasak #29 2004 World Cup Blue. Jan was a star for Slovokia in this tournment and the only game he didn't start for was the one this jersey is from. It does have a little puck mark on the numbers and a slight burn on one sleeve, so you at least have some "use" on it (Pic 4). It is still a great jersey from a favorite goalie of mine.

Spartek, Russian Super League...
Russian-Front Spartek-Back Sleeve-Damage
Unknown PLayer #19 White. This is a nicely beat up jersey from down the Bloc. It has some really nice stick marks on the front. All the research I have done says this was used in multiple seasons in the late 90's.

Junior League Jerseys:
QMJHL:

Halifax Mooseheads...
Moose-Front Moose-Ass Moose-Markings
Derrick Kent #19 Unknown year Road. Derrick played for the Mooseheads from 2000-04 so I am not sure which season this is from. I do love the Mooseheads jerseys though. Probably because I love Moosehead beer, but who knows. This jersey shows decent use for a darker jersey including a nice big hack mark on the from near the crest (Pic 3). It also sports my favorite number which is another big reason I got it. If you ever get to Halifax be sure to visit a quiet little place called "The Liquordome".

OSHL Jerseys:
Toronto(Sort of)...
OSHL-Mason Mason-Back Cup-Patch
Chris Mason #30 04-05 Toronto/Blue. This is a sweater from the short lived Original Stars Hockey League. The players never knew what 'team' they were on until that night when someone said "OK, Tonight you guys are Toronto...in blue." or something like that. It's just a nice item from the dark days of trying to save hockey during the lockout. Almost no game use on this, we'll call it 'surprisingly light'

College Jerseys:
UConn...
Husky-Front Husky-Back Sleeve-Abuse
Unknown Player #21 Alternate. This is a UConn Huskies third jersey. I really like the design on this one because I am the proud owner of a Husky. There is some decent use on this one especially on the from with a big ole stick mark just under the crest and a couple of marks on the sleeves (Pic 3).

Virginia Tech...
Tech-Front Tech-Back
Unknown Player #21 Away. This is a really basic jersey that was used by the Hokies as a temporary sweater while new ones were being prepped for the team. It has light use but can get drinks bought for you in the right places here in Virginia, it can also get your teeth kicked in in the wrong places here in Virginia!
